What Is Branding?
I am sure that you have heard of the term “branding“. You may have also seen it in action, but have you ever thought about what it really means?
Brand is a word that has many meanings. It can be used to describe a person’s reputation or character. In the business world, it refers to the name and image of a company or business. The company or business name is referred to as the brand.
There are two types of brands:
1. Personal brand
Personal brand is the image that you portray to the public. It is how people perceive you. For example, if you are an attorney, you may have a personal brand of being a smart and knowledgeable attorney. People will see you as such and your clients will know this as well.
2. Business brand
Business brand is the image that your business portrays to the public. This is the image that your customers see when they think of your company. Your business brand is made up of your company name, logo, website, marketing materials, and everything else that you use to market your business.
A business’ brand is very important because it is the image that people will have of your business. If people don’t like your business brand, then they will not buy from you. So, it is important to make sure that your business brand is appealing to your customers.
To make sure that your business brand appeals to your customers, you need to create a logo for your business. A logo is the visual representation of your business. Your logo should represent the image that you want your customers to have of your company. Your logo should be simple and clean. It should have some color and it should be memorable.
When creating your logo, you should consider the colors of your company. Some companies may have a specific color scheme that they use. If you are working with a company that has a specific color scheme, you should try to match that color scheme.
Another thing to keep in mind is the type of font that you use. There are different fonts that you can use. You can use serif fonts or sans serif fonts. Serif fonts have the “tails” that are found on the letters. Sans serif fonts do not have these tails. The main reason that you would choose one over the other is to match your company’s color scheme.
Once you have created your logo, you should get it printed on everything that you use to market your company. This includes your business cards, letterheads, brochures, etc. Having your logo on all of these things will help to spread the image of your company to the public.
